Fundraisers

COINS for CASA, formerly known as Pennies from Heaven is a school-based fundraiser. We place coin collection containers in every local school room and ask students and faculty to donate their spare change to CASA for a period of 2 weeks.

Papa John's Pizza rewards the classes with the most donations with a class pizza party, and the winning class at each district with a breakfast party from Chick-Fil-A. However, the TRUE reward is knowing that these kids are helping other kids!

It is a great event, and important to instill a sense of giving at a young age. These kids amaze and inspire us as they bring in "tooth fairy money" and birthday money to give to other kids.

We also distribute important materials to the students and teachers on the process of making a report of suspected abuse/neglect.
